Level I

This is considered a “1-step compound,” meaning the compound is a very light abrasive that is used on a microfiber polishing pad with a random orbital. This removes 30-45% (medium to hard paint) and 45-65% (soft to medium hard paint) of any swirl marks, micro-marring and light clear coat etching. An LED light will be used to see any imperfections in the paint. This technique takes years to learn how to approach different types of automotive paint and is only intended for experienced professional automotive detailers with years of knowledge and skills to perform any type of paint restoration.
